4-Hour SAT Boot Camp

Get a jump start on your SAT test preparation! The SAT is offered both digitally and written. This comprehensive review course introduces students to the SAT test and includes classroom instruction, test-taking strategies, practice activities, testing information & study materials. 2024 SAT Fall test dates: October 5, November 2 & December 7.  

Students aged 15 and up are welcome to register when a parent or guardian is also registered and attends the same class.

Students are welcome to bring a snack to class.

Spooktacular Halloween Party

Come and join our Spooktacular Halloween Party! Get ready for an evening of creating an awesome Halloween craft, playing games including: Room on the Broom, Ghost Stack and Pumpkin Toss and of course, we’ll enjoy some Halloween goodies! Get ready for some scary good fun!

For ages 6-11 years old.

A supply fee of $8 per person is due and payable to the instructor the day of class.

 

Intermediate Fly Fishing Tactics

Are you a beginner fly fisher looking to take your fishing to the next level? Join us for an intermediate-level fly-fishing lecture. Topics include equipment, fly selection, how to rig your flies, situational casting & stream tactics, basic entomology, target species information, and resources. Warm water, cold water and some saltwater fly-fishing opportunities will be discussed. This course is structured for the beginning or novice angler.

Students aged 12 and up are welcome to register for this class when a parent or guardian is also registered and attends the same class.

 

Basic Cheese Making - Ricotta & Cream Cheese

Who knew making these cheeses would be so easy and come right out of your kitchen! You may never go back to store-bought again. With having control of the amount of moisture and salt used, you can customize the flavor of your cooking adventures! In this class, we will make ricotta, cream cheese, and a delicious herb cream cheese. Class size will be small for more individualized instruction. Early registration is recommended. Students must bring a glass candy thermometer, large saucepan, a package of cheesecloth, and a gallon of whole milk to class.

Students aged 10 and up are welcome to register for this class when a parent or guardian is also registered and attends the same class.

A supply fee of $4 per person is due and payable to the instructor the day of class.

Sensational Scones

From tea time to family get-togethers, scones are the perfect treat to satisfy any sweet tooth. In this class you will learn how to make homemade scones from start to finish. This class is perfect for anyone who wants to give baking a shot! You will be making two different flavors and have a variety of flavors to choose from. Everyone will go home with a dozen scones and a new found love of baking! Come by yourself, with a friend or with a group! Please consider bringing a container/box suitable for transporting scones.

Students aged 10 and up are welcome to register for this class when a parent/guardian is also registered and attending the same class.

A supply fee of $15 per person is due and payable to the instructor the day of class.
