Get started with the basics of working with oil painting. Students will get acquainted with the materials and methods to create a first basic “lean” layer. You will then create a simple gradient color scape, which allows you to focus on color mixing, palette work and working with solvents, without worrying about brush techniques. Join us and learn all the basics of working with oil without the intimidation of creating specific subject matter.

A supply fee of $15 per person is due and payable to the instructor the day of class.
