Learn all about the unique dough known as Choux Paste. This strange dough is the base for desserts such as cream puffs, churros, eclairs and profiteroles. In this class, you will make cream puffs filled with a homemade vanilla or raspberry whipped cream. Your decadent eclairs will be filled with a homemade vanilla pastry cream and topped with a chocolate ganache. A class not to be missed!

Don’t let your camera collect dust! Join this beginner’s photography class and unleash your creativity behind the lens. If you’re looking to learn more about mastering your settings like ISO, aperture and shutter speed then this is the class for you. You will also learn how to create visually interesting images like harvesting the magic of sunlight. By taking this class, you will gain the confidence to use your camera and create the stunning images you desire.  Students are welcome to bring their camera to class.

Students aged 14 and up are welcome to register for this class when a parent or guardian is also registered and attends the same class.

Let’s get ready to celebrate the Christmas holiday with Grandmas delicious cookie recipe! Italian fig cookies, or cuccidati, are light and crisp cookies with irresistibly soft centers that will steal the show this Christmas. Grab a friend, spouse or relative for a fun time out, or a date! When you attend the classes, you will receive a recipe, good tips, and the best part, a dozen cookies you made to take home! The instructor will also share a booklet that her family made, which was passed all the way down to the great-grandchildren! It is filled with her Grandmother’s recipes, pictures and stories about growing up with Nonna! Students should have basic baking knowledge. Instructor will contact students prior to class with a list of utensils to bring to class.

Discover the artistry and cultural significance of crafting with pine needle rim gourds in this immersive hands-on class. Delve into the rich history of gourd artistry, spanning ancient traditions to contemporary techniques, as you learn to transform an ordinary gourd into a stunning piece of functional art. Participants will explore the various stages of gourd crafting, with a particular focus on the intricate process of adorning gourd rims with delicate pine needle patterns. You will learn the fundamental techniques of selecting, cleaning, and preparing gourds for crafting, as well as the intricacies of incorporating pine needles into your designs. Gourds will be cleaned, sanded, cut, and pre-drilled. All supplies needed will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring an apron or wear clothing suitable for staining/painting and are welcome to bring any desired embellishments such as beads, jewels, stones, etc. Note: Gourds may vary in size, shape, texture, color, and are subject to participant’s creativity.

Try your hand at creating different approaches to making homemade pasta and other Italian favorites! Don't forget, great cooking is about more than just recipes - it's about techniques! These classes have you working together in a fun, hands-on environment. Fun classes for a date-night out or an evening together with friends. Class size will be small to give more individualized instruction. Early registration is strongly suggested.

A few days before class, students will be sent a supply list of ingredients to bring with them from the instructor.

The season of baking is finally here!  This simple yet delicious apple bundt cake is the perfect fall recipe for anyone with a sweet tooth. With a moist spiced cake and sweet New York apples, this cake can’t be beat! It will no doubt become a dessert you will make over and over again! Please bring a bundt pan to class, all other materials will be provided. Please bring a container for transport home.

Grab a cup of coffee and a friend or two and join us for this fun, creative, watercolor class and learn to paint your own Christmas cards. This is an easy, fun, beginner class. You will design four 5 x 7 inch cards with envelopes and given embellishments to make your cards burst with sparkle and bling!  This class includes everything you need to create festive Christmas cards with plenty of glitter and textured snow galore. In addition, traceables will be available for those who don't want to draw freehand. You will be a hit this season when you give these to your family and friends.
