Irresistable Pecan Pie

The holidays are just around the corner! Are you looking to impress your family and friends with a simple yet delicious homemade pie? Then this class is for you! You will learn how to make flakey homemade pie crust and slightly sweet and spiced pecan filling. You do not need any experience with baking to take this class. Everyone is welcome! Students will only have to bring a pie pan with them, everything else will be provided!  Please consider bringing a container/box suitable for transporting a finished pie home.

A supply fee of $15 per person is due and payable to the instructor the day of class.

 

Unisex Wire Wrapped Cabochon Bracelet

Depart with a gracefully adorned bracelet, adorned with a meticulously hand-cut cabochon, radiating your personal style and flair. All essential tools and materials will be provided, ensuring a delightful and immersive experience. Unleash your creativity and join us in weaving dreams into reality, one wire at a time! 

Previous experience or Sept 19 Wire wrap cabochon pendant class is required.

A supply fee of $25 per person is due and payable to the instructor the day of class.

Two Bite Pie Bar - Two ways!

A bar inspiring to be a pie, the perfect two bite pie bar will save space for more of your favorite Thanksgiving desserts! You will create a buttery shortbread that will be topped two ways. One with our nutty pecan pie filling and another with our creamy pumpkin pie filling. You will leave with two 8x8 pans filled with two different pie bars, a perfect treat you can share and top off with your favorite whipped topping. Allergy warning: pecan pie bars contain a tree nut.

This class welcomes students aged 16 and up to register with a parent/guardian that is also registered and attending the same class. Parent or guardian must supervise minor students stove top use. 

A supply fee of $12 per person is due and payable to the instructor the day of class.

All About Choux Paste: Cream Puffs and Eclairs

Learn all about the unique dough known as Choux Paste. This strange dough is the base for desserts such as cream puffs, churros, eclairs and profiteroles. In this class, you will make cream puffs filled with a homemade vanilla or raspberry whipped cream. Your decadent eclairs will be filled with a homemade vanilla pastry cream and topped with a chocolate ganache. A class not to be missed!

Beginner Photography

Don’t let your camera collect dust! Join this beginner’s photography class and unleash your creativity behind the lens. If you’re looking to learn more about mastering your settings like ISO, aperture and shutter speed then this is the class for you. You will also learn how to create visually interesting images like harvesting the magic of sunlight. By taking this class, you will gain the confidence to use your camera and create the stunning images you desire.  Students are welcome to bring their camera to class.

Students aged 14 and up are welcome to register for this class when a parent or guardian is also registered and attends the same class.

Pine Needle Gourd Bowl

Discover the artistry and cultural significance of crafting with pine needle rim gourds in this immersive hands-on class. Delve into the rich history of gourd artistry, spanning ancient traditions to contemporary techniques, as you learn to transform an ordinary gourd into a stunning piece of functional art. Participants will explore the various stages of gourd crafting, with a particular focus on the intricate process of adorning gourd rims with delicate pine needle patterns. You will learn the fundamental techniques of selecting, cleaning, and preparing gourds for crafting, as well as the intricacies of incorporating pine needles into your designs. Gourds will be cleaned, sanded, cut, and pre-drilled. All supplies needed will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring an apron or wear clothing suitable for staining/painting and are welcome to bring any desired embellishments such as beads, jewels, stones, etc. Note: Gourds may vary in size, shape, texture, color, and are subject to participant’s creativity.

Students aged 14 and up are welcome to register when a parent or guardian is also registered and attends the same class.

Wire Wrapped Crystal Pendant

Through expert guidance, participants will discover the intricate technique of wrapping natural crystals into stunning pieces of wearable art, decorative ornaments, and cherished keepsakes without the need for glue or soldering.  You’ll master the skill of transforming ordinary stones or found objects into elegant pendants using only wires, allowing for endless possibilities of personal expression.

A supply fee of $20 per person is due and payable to the instructor the day of class.

Delicious Apple Bundt Cake

The season of baking is finally here!  This simple yet delicious apple bundt cake is the perfect fall recipe for anyone with a sweet tooth. With a moist spiced cake and sweet New York apples, this cake can’t be beat! It will no doubt become a dessert you will make over and over again! Please bring a bundt pan to class, all other materials will be provided. Please bring a container for transport home.

A supply fee of $15 is due and payable to the instructor at the beginning of class.
