Let's Make Coconut Cream Pie!

Are you looking for an easy yet delicious dessert for the holidays? In this class, you will learn how to make a wonderful homemade pie crust and coconut cream pie filling. No prior baking experience is needed to ace this recipe, so everyone is encouraged to join us! Students will only need to bring a pie dish! All materials needed will be supplied. Please consider bringing a container/box suitable for transporting a finished pie home.

A supply fee of $15 per person is due and payable to the instructor the day of class.

Thanksgiving Turkey Themed Charcuterie

Your family and friends will love this whimsical turkey designed charcuterie board! In this themed class, we will learn to make our own turkey-shaped charcuterie board just in time to impress your guests this Thanksgiving. Join us and learn tips and tricks on charcuterie styling, cheese cutting, and food pairing. All ingredients, instructions, and cheese tasting are included.

Students aged 16 and up are welcome to register when a parent or guardian is also registered and attends the same class. 

A supply fee of $20 per person is due and payable to the instructor the day of class. Students will receive a set of carving knives and wood.

Defensive Driving Course

Save money on your auto insurance and remove points from your driving record! This point and insurance reduction program reviews safe driving and accident-avoidance techniques. Upon completion of the class, drivers are eligible for a 10% reduction in their auto insurance and/or up to 4 points removed from their DMV driving record. Drivers may take the course every 3 years for insurance reduction and every 18 months for point reduction. All drivers listed on a policy are eligible to complete the course.

Students aged 16 and up are welcome to register for this class when a parent or guardian is also registered and attends the same class.

 

Winter Weaving for Noel

Beginner’s weaving, but in the round! Students will learn how to learn how to wrap around a loom and weave for stunning results, while exploring a variety of different materials to create color and texture. You will be using bulky lofty materials that work up quickly, including yarn, raw wool roving and even mac cord. Finished project will be nine inches. 

Students please bring a pair of scissors to class.

A supply fee of $12 per person is due and payable to the instructor the day of class.

Medicare 101 - Understanding Your Options

Medicare is confusing! What are parts A, B, C and D? When do I have to enroll? What will I pay? What is a Medicare Advantage Plan? What is a Medicare Supplement Plan? What about late enrollment penalties, Extra Help, Epic or Medicare Savings Programs? What kind of plans might work best for me? See how this education will help you understand how the Medicare program works. We will provide a general overview of the variety of Medicare Insurance products that are available to beneficiaries.

This class is FREE, prior registration is required.

Love pasta and traditional Italian dishes? We will take a step back in time to “old school” Italian Cuisine. Try your hand at creating different approaches to making homemade pasta and other Italian favorites! Don't forget, great cooking is about more than just recipes - it's about techniques! These classes have you working together in a fun, hands-on environment. Fun classes for a date-night out or an evening together with friends. Class size will be small to give more individualized instruction. Early registration is strongly suggested.

Join us in making this delicious, traditional light and fluffy ricotta cheese pasta (not potato). Guaranteed to be a big hit in your household. 

Students aged 16 and up are welcome to register for these classes when a parent or guardian is also registered and attends the same class.

A few days before class, students will be sent a supply list of ingredients to bring with them from the instructor.

Holiday Wine Glass Painting

Come and join us for a fun-filled evening of painting wine glasses. You will be able to enjoy your new artistic creations this upcoming holiday season. This class is designed for those that don't have much painting experience, to an advanced painter. The process is simple and you will love your finished product!

A supply fee of $8 per person is due and payable to the instructor the day of class. Please bring a small box or container to bring your glasses home in.

Fundamentals of Estate and Medicaid Planning

In this educational seminar a local estate attorney will discuss and explain the important differences between will-based and trust-based estate planning and the advantages of trusts over wills; the need to plan ahead for the crucial time period after a person becomes incapacitated and before their passing, and the many benefits of proactive Medicaid planning to protect family assets from being drained away by the cost of long-term nursing home care and/or Medicaid estate recovery.
